In 1992, company founder, Richard Lewin was a stay at home, Vancouver Island dad with a flair for cooking. His daughter Golda
(four years old at the time) was his product tester and became his first fan.That's her image and her name on our labels.

Golda's younger brother has also joined the enterprise, offering fresh, home-grown basil and other herbs and produce for Golda's from Freeman's Farm and Seeds. True to tradition, his produce is pesticide, herbicide and insecticide free.

Golda's products include Basil, Artichoke, Cilantro, Sun Dried Tomato and seasonal pestos,as well as our most recent offering, SkoogkTM;. This is made with cilantro, garlic and jalapeno and other delicious ingredients.
